Assessment on Hispanics Educational Attainment In Relation to Food Insecure Households in California

This study sought out to assess Hispanics’ educational attainment and its relationship between food insecure households within California. This study analyzed secondary data from the 2016 California Health Interview Survey (CHIS). Participants measuring Hispanics, educational attainment, and household food insecurity included in this study were selected based off specific variables based off CHIS data. After conducting a One-Way ANOVA, a statistical significance was found between Hispanic adults educational attainment and food insecurity. There was statistical significance found when analyzing dependent variable 1 (food insecurity) with independent variable 1 (Hispanic adults) and independent variable 2 (educational attainment). After conducting the One-Way ANOVA, there was statistical significance found between Hispanic adults educational attainment in relation to food insecurity in California.
