Best Practices for Reducing High School Suspension Rates

School suspensions are on the rise in the United States. Much research has been done in elementary and middle schools, but reducing suspension rates in high school has not been as widely studied. Using a mixed methodology of both qualitative and quantitative methods, this study explores the key characteristics of a large suburban high school with a low suspension rate.
